G-Unit TOS IS A 5 Star CD GO Cop It G-Unitttttttttttt
I will let you know I am going to review each song individually and than I will give an overall rating of the album. I am being unbiased even though I am a g-unit fan
1. Straight Outta Southside- this is a great way to kick off the cd. This showed me G-Unit is not all about selling records as they kicked off the cd with this because most radio stations would not play this because of the explicit lyrics. I will say its awesome to here the tribute for Sean bell well deserved and everyone on this track killed the beat was sick and just a great song. Song Rating 5/5.
2. Piano Man feat. Young Buck- What a solid second song for G-Unit here. Coming off something really hard and than moving to something softer but having Young Buck on this brought back the heat this was probably one of my favorite songs on the album and this cd is off to a good start. Song Rating 4.5/5.
3. Close To Me- 50 Cents Curtis seemed really soft to me but this cd was different. This song was made for the ladies and was well put together and put at the right spot on the cd to give the ladies what they want to hear. Good song here. Song Rating 4/5.
4. Rider Pt. 2 feat. Young Buck- This was another one of their singles that did not catch on with the public but i liked this as well. I think the song should have been longer and had spider loc on the track but the beat is good and just a solid track not a number one hit but should have done better than it did. Song Rating 3.5/5.
5. Casualties Of War- Another song kind of average to me. I liked the point they were trying to get across I was not digging the beat here or the flow of the song. A lot of people like it I find it okay. Song Rating 3.5/5.
6. You SO Tough- A very solid and interesting track. 50 Cent is dissing someone on this track and I believe it is T.I. A hard track but I wonder why fif would go there with T.I. its fine by me but I hope he lets us know who he's dissing. Song Rating 4/5.
7. No Days Off feat. Young Buck- This is another track were this is an example if buck had not whined so much this cd could have been cd of the year. The 5 tracks with buck on here he killed it was sick. Fif banks and yayo were a little harder but it would not have hurt if buck had stuck with the project. Song Rating 5/5.
8. T.O.S.- This is the surprise of the CD. I really liked it because of the beat and they made the song one of the longest on the cd. 50 Hooks are great and Yayo and Banks fit right in. You will like this track. Song Rating 5/5.
9. I Like The Way She Do It feat Young Buck- This song has not been a hit like they had hoped as releasing it as a single. I will say i like this as a dance song. The beat is catchy like Ayo Technology and everyone contributes to the song solid underrated song. Song Rating 4/5.
10. Kitty Kat- Another great song that will catch on. Some might hate and say the chorus is weak which it isn't the greatest but 50 has some great lines. Yayo could have stepped it up more here but banks brings it hard. Good Song. Song Rating 4/5.
11. Party Aint Over feat. Young Buck- Everyone said this was the same song they had already heard but there wrong when they listen to it all of G-Unit is in it. I don't like the way they changed the beat but it is still a good dance song. Song Rating 3.5/5.
12. Let It Go feat. Mavado- this was a unique song. It was the only song on the CD were there was a guest star except young buck. Mavado was great in the chorus but the song seemed a little bland to me. Not bad but could have been better. Song Rating 3.5/5.
13. Get Down- I first tried to listen to this track when it came out but I only find the edited version which was wack. The Explicit version is solid but again not one of my favorite tracks on the cd. Some others actually prefer this but not on my top list. Song Rating 3/5.
14. I Don't Wanna Talk About It- this is a nice track that's more on the smooth side. It has a catchy beat and is one of the few tracks that is not hard which is nice to mix it up. Nice hooks by fif and good verses from banks and yayo. Song Rating 4/5.
15. Ready Or Not- This was not one of my more favorite tracks on the cd. I mean most of the hard tracks on this cd were great but this seemed below average to me. I also was not digging the chorus that much. Its ok nothing to write home about. Song Rating 2.5/5.
16. Money Make The World Go Round- this is a great song. It is basically talking about how money affects the world in every day life. Weather its in a good way or a bad its always apart of our life. I think it's a song that's great to close the cd and gives us an insight of how our world is living. It reminds me of the song it's hard out here for a pimp. Song Rating 4.5/5.

A definite must buy cop this asap. Anyone that tells u this is a 1 star cd is lying it is just unfair to da unit and you should go support it
Beg for Curtis's Massacre
Kind of bored of the same material. Has anyone listened to Nas's new album? Nas continues to amaze because you have no idea what the album is like because he continues to innovate and be relevant with culture and society. The whole G-Unit sound is getting tired.
Seriously, how many tracks can you, and why you, would want to make about bustin off your piece? No wonder 50 lost to Kanye.
C'mon 50, take us back to the Guess Who's Back days. Tell stories in an original way. This album is recycled material and good for those aromatherapy machines that play cd's. If you are an insomniac, listen to this album.
Not that bad, but really not that good
G-Unit's second studio album "T.O.S." starts off with a bang. The first track, Straight Outta Southside, is about as good a song as G-Unit has ever put out. An insane beat with great rapping from all on board. However, every other song after this seems to lead a sleepwalk through 60 minutes of boring rap. Yeah, most of the songs are OK, but none of them get a rise out of the listener either.
I'm sure most G-Unit fans out there will want to kill me for this review, but I am a big G-Unit fan myself. 50's early stuff, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo are all damn good rappers on their own. However, with this much time in between albums, I thought the group could've done a better job at making some great tracks, not some weak ones.

Unquestionably Cash Money/Universal Motown Records recording artist, Lil Wayne will go down in history as the best rapper of his generation. Indeed he may go down as one of the best artists in hip-hop period. One look at Lil Wayne's impeccable track record will convince even the most ardent skeptic that the New Orleans born lyricist is a strong contender for the crown of "Greatest of All Times."
In the span of his 13-year career, Lil Wayne has sold over six million units, including his magnum opus, The Carter II (2005) which sold over 2.5 million units. He has been featured on numerous high profile singles including Fat Joe's Grammy nominated single "Make It Rain," and in the past two years, Lil Wayne has recorded over 1,000 songs and freestyles. According to MTV, Lil Wayne has released more music in the last two years than the legendary Tupac Shakur.
Now with his highly anticipated sixth and arguably his best album The Carter III, Lil Wayne's career and legacy is set to climb to even greater heights. "I made The Carter III so that whatever song is on, it will stick with you forever," says Wayne. "That's why I took my time with it. I wanted it to be a classic."
A classic it will truly be. With production by Alchemist, Cool & Dre, David Banner, Kanye West, and Jim Jonsin, to name a few, and guest appearances by some of today's premiere recording artists including T-Pain (Got Money), Bobby Valentino (Mr. Officer), Babyface (Comfortable), Juelz Santana & Fabolous (Ain't Got Nuthin) and a special guest appearance by the legendary R&B singer Ms. Betty Wright (Play With Fire), Tha Carter III is an eclectic collection of 15 songs that range from simply brilliant to sheer genius.
The first single from the Tha Carter III, "Lollipop," featuring Static Major is the bubbling lead single that has Wayne delivering his clever lyrics laced with racy double entendres over a funky slow burning beat. Lil Wayne's second single, "A Milli"which was produced by Bangladesh (Ciara & Ludacris), is a booming 808 laced track augmented by a tight rhythmic snare, accented by handclaps and a sample that matches Wayne's staccato flow perfectly. In "Mr. Carter" featuring Jay-Z, we find the two trading introspective lyrics about their lives and legacy in the rap game with Wayne at his lyrical best dropping stream of conscious gems like: "I got the flo', I'm tryin' to see the roof/Didn't wear a bulletproof so I got shot, you can see the proof/Blind eyes can look at me and see the truth/Wonder if Stevie do?"
Born DeWayne Michael Carter, Jr. and raised in New Orleans infamously poor Hollygrove neighborhood, Lil Wayne was discovered by Cash Money CEO Brian "Birdman" Williams
when a mutual friend introduced him to the pre-teen rapper. The Birdman immediately saw a spark in the youngster's eyes and took him under his wing. In 1993, Lil Wayne and fellow Cash Money rapper B.G. came together as a duo called The BGs and released their debut EP True Stories. In 1997, a 15 year old Wayne joined forces with BG, Juvenile and Turk to form The Hot Boys for their debut album Get It How U Live. The record sold over 400,000 copies independently. The Hot Boys sophomore LP Guerilla Warfare (1999) went platinum and earned Wayne critical acclaim. That set the stage for his platinum selling 1999 solo debut Tha Block Is Hot. The album yielded a number one single with the title tune and was certified double platinum.
The following year Wayne released his sophomore LP Lights Out, which reached gold status and in 2002, Lil Wayne dropped his third solo LP 500 Degrees. It too went gold. Two years later Wayne released The Carter, the first album in the trilogy that would elevate Wayne to superstar status. The Carter (2004) was a commercial success selling over one million copies and reaching #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts and #2 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop chart. In 2005, Wayne released The Carter II, which sold over 1.8 million records. 2006 saw the release of Like Father, Like Son, a collaboration between Lil Wayne and Birdman which has sold over 750,000 units.
GQ Magazine named Lil Wayne as its "Man Of The Year" for 2007. Rolling Stone Magazine tagged him as "Best MC of 2008" while Blender Magazine (2008) named him the "Best Rock Star Alive." So it should come as no surprise that his latest solo outing finds the hip-hop super star at the top of his game. With Tha Carter III, Lil Wayne proves to the world why he is indeed considered "the best rapper alive" and one of the great recording artists of his generation.

Overrated
Lil Wayne, while talented, is by far the most overrated rapper out there today. This album is his worst to date. Get Tha Carter or Tha Carter II instead.
Also who writes these editorial reviews? Lil Wayne is "unquestionably" the "greatest" rapper of his generation? Which generation is that and is he really better than Eminem? I don't think so.
pretty good
this is my first lil wayne purchase and it's alright. i do feel there was too much hype behind it, but that's how things are these days.
Ivori's review
i like the cd that you have sent me. it came on time and in very clean condition. i would asume that just because it was used it would have a scratch or something on it, but you have proved me wrong thank you.

Nas is back and more controversial than ever on his new untitled Def Jam release. On this, his 9th studio album, Nas studies and lyrically dissects some of the our most divisive issues: race, inequality, poverty, and power. And who better to stir up debate than the man most consider one of the top five emcees in the history of the game? From his brilliant 1994 debut Illmatic, to his mainstream success with It Was Written, to anthems like "Hate Me Now" and "One Mic" and his venomous lyricism on "Ether," Nas' ability to tell stories, educate, make you dance--and make you look--is the stuff of rap legend. The outspoken Queensbridge rapper has sold over 15 million albums worldwide over the course of his storied career. Nas' Def Jam debut, Hip-Hop Is Dead, was released in December 2006 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with over 350,000 copies sold in its first week. Preparing now for the 2nd Def Jam release, Nas is ready to release his untitled album on July 15th.

Classic Album
If Ur A Nas Fan U Shud Definitely pick dis album dis is one uv da best albums by far dis year and u b stupid not 2 listen 2 it unless u dont no nas's style uv music and its ur loss idiots dis dude has plenty more 2 offer den buyin ice and borin azz club music dat sound da same peace cop dat album
Nas is still bad! Cop this.....
Long before this album dropped, the buzz about it was stirring online. There is nothing new about an artist releasing a controversial piece of work, but many stir the pot for publicity's sake alone. The not so "Untitled" album by Nas has undoubtedly caught the attention of rap and non-rap fans alike. For starters the cover photo depicts Nas with the letter "N" marked on his back as if from 100 lashes of master's whip. The picture is enough to make even the toughest of us cringe a little. It evokes images of pain, deep suffering, slavery, and gross racial inequality. Perhaps his summation of the music biz? Infer what you wish about this symbolism, artist as he is, Nas leaves it for us to decide.
Par for the course, people will compare this to Illmatic, long considered both a rap classic and his best work. "Untitled" has all the usual elements of a great hip hop album. The track production is on point with work by Dre, Mark Ronson, and Polow Da Don. The guest appearances actually add a lil' something to the album. I hate it when there are so many guest spots that you end up wanting to hear more from the main artist. Busta Rhymes raps on the comical yet truthful "Fried Chicken". Other guests include Chris Brown, Mykel, and The Last Poets. Lyrically solid, Nas boldly explores poignant issues affecting African Americans. As a man and an artist, he has matured and though still street, he aims to educate, entertain, and challenge us even at the expense of garnering new fans.
"cause anytime we mention our condition, our history, our existence, they calling it reverse racism..."
Overall, this is an excellent album. You have to admire Nas as a man and an artist as he stayed true in keeping the concept and content intact. One can only imagine the boardroom meetings held in an effort to dilute his cold, gritty messages. Much respect to Nas for another "ill" release.

Classic
I'm always excited with a NaS release, I guess because I've grown up on his music. Anyway, you can differently tell that NaS is maturing with each album that comes out. At first I wasn't really feeling the album except for a few tracks but after listening to it for a couple a times I've come to appropriate it. You can tell he's going for a more serious message/crowd with this one, for some it will be to deep but for me, at the least its made me a little more aware of what's going on around me. Take what you want from it but everyone should be able to take something. The production is great, it sounds like he made a push for more of a live instrument sound. This is defn'tly a classic in the making!!

HERE IS USHER'S STAND:PARENTHOOD AND MATURITY
I REALLY LIKE THIS ALBUM!! This album is great. This album hit number one despite the critics and fans alike. This album is a testament to his maturity as both man and father. This album tells a story of growth: triumphant, reflective, somewhat defiant, and it marks a new period in Usher's life and creative expression. This album will go Platinum.
The Adult Usher
I am probably older than the majority of Usher's fans, but none the less I am a fan. This CD defines a different Usher: Usher almost 30, Usher the husband, father, and the man. For the most part he has never had negative publicity; that alone is a major plus. I have enjoyed this CD the most.
Weak.
Most of the songs on this cd are forgetable. I'm gonna write usher and ask for my money back. after his last disc i was expecting a masterpiece...NOT!! Needs to hire some good producers. not hating just telling it how i feel.
